Big Valley Farm Stay – reposted

We stayed at Big Valley Farm Stay for a week. This was an excellent spot to leave the van and tour the region around Margaret River. It was good to be on a farm.

The drive into the farm lead through the paddock where the sheep were grazing.

Lola, the resident goat, obviously enjoyed nudging up with Lesley. I certainly can sympathise. This was the only night that we joined the camp fire. Most other nights it was just too wet. The weather certainly hasn’t been great. But as somebody said: This is winter in WA. Expect rain.

The lambs roamed free around the campsite.

Obviously it was washing day…

Australian Ringneck.

Red Wattlebird – if you look carefully you can see red skin flaps protruding from the cheeks.
