Leaving RV Homebase

Nine months ago we moved into RV Homebase. What attracted us to RV Homebase in the beginning, was the possibility of leaving the place any time, knowing that the home will be looked after. We finally were  ready to go on another big trip. We will be on the road for some seven months. Of course we will be missing some aspects of RV Homebase, not least our neighbours. But for now we are really looking forward to the trip.

On Monday night, we were all packed up, just a few minor tasks left for the following  morning.

After finalising our last preparations, a final coffee at our neighbours, we were driving out of the garage.

After checking a few things we are off – down to the hardstand.

After locking up our home, we are driving down our road.

On the hardstand we filled our water tanks, installed the weight distribution hitch and said our final good byes to some of our neighbours.

Filling up with water and installing the weight distribution hitch were the final tasks before leaving.

Finally, ready to leave.
