When we told people that we were travelling to Finley for Easter, the response was invariably “Why?”. So we were a little unsure if this was a good idea or not but as we have come to realise, the opinions of others do not always coincide with ours. Fortunately, this turned out to be one of those occasions.
I can understand that just driving through the town would not leave much of an impression but spending almost a week there certainly gave us a feel for the town and the surrounding countryside and we were glad to have experienced it.
