Easter 2016 – Lake Wyangan revisited

30th March

With Easter over for another year, we now headed north on our return journey. As the plan was to take the Kidman Way all the way north to Queensland, we decided to revisit Lake Wyangan outside of Griffith for a slightly longer stay.

This time we managed to get the prime camping spot on the other side of the boat ramp.

Once again we enjoyed the bird life and the magnificent views over the lake.

The majestic Pelican

A great shot of the female Red Rump Parrot peeking out of the nest in the dead tree with the male standing guard.

Young deer at the adjoining deer park.

After sunset.

Truly a beautiful spot that I am sure we will revisit again.
