Alaska Cruise – Part 2

31st May, 2017 Part 2 of our photographic tour of Ketchikan.

Closeups of the Totem Poles at the entrance to our hotel.

Later in the afternoon Erich decided to walk down to the town along Creek Street, also known as Married Man’s Trail as it wound its way beside the creek past the fish ladder to the town’s former red light district. In the 1920s there were around 20 houses of ill-repute in the town.

A beautiful mosaic of a salmon mounted beside the creek.
